Brian is a licensed General Contractor specializing in the development of single tenant and mid-sized multi-tenant retail centers. His 20 years of real estate experience are highlighted by time spent as a construction lender for Wachovia Bank followed by a number of years as the owner of a multi-million dollar homebuilding/development company. Brian joined Deep River Partners in 2012 after serving as a commercial broker with Triad Commercial Properties Development Group’s brokerage division. This breadth of experience in sales, finance, development, management, and construction has been the foundation for Brian’s success in the commercial discipline. He embraces the “art of the deal” because it is founded in relationships. Thus, his primary focus with Deep River has been site selection, business development, contract, and lease negotiation. Driven by his sincere passion for real estate, Brian’s creativity and persistence continue to result in new tenant relationships and new site opportunities.

Brian is a graduate of Auburn University where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a licensed North Carolina real estate broker. Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, and their three children. He also serves the Greensboro community as an elder at First Presbyterian Church and as a member of the Greensboro Sports Council.
